Chicago Heart Rhythm specializes in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders. Samer Dibs, MD, the managing director of Chicago Heart Rhythm, has more than 20 years of experience in clinical cardiac electrophysiology (EP), including catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, implantation of arrhythmia and heart failure devices (defibrillators and pacemakers), and diagnostic electrophysiologic testing.
At the University of California - San Francisco (UCSF) between 1998 and 2000, Dr. Dibs was among a small number of physicians around the world performing catheter ablations of atrial fibrillation and implantations of cardiac resynchronization therapy (biventricular pacing) devices, at the time when those procedures were in their early development. With an experience in cardiac electrophysiology practice in the Chicago area since 2000, including 5 years on the faculty of Northwestern University, Dr Dibs' emphasis has always been the delivery of high-quality, state-of-the-art care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
